Who Really Counts? Organizational Life Cycle and Environmental Stakeholder's Salience

Stakeholders, who can affect or are affected by the achievement of the organization's objectives. Stakeholders will be evaluated differently, which depends on the specific issues considered, and the stage of organization's life cycle. Focus on the issue of corporate environmental management, we integrate theory and research from organizational life cycle and stakeholder management to conduct an empirical research by using of data from China. Result shows that manager's perception of environmental stakeholder's salience is much different among corporates with different life cycle stage.
