a novel V2O5-MoO3/TiO2/Al2O3 metal wire-mesh-honeycomb catalyst prepared by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3 was investigated. The influences of TiO2 loading and active components loading on the SCR activity were evaluated. The experimental results show that the optimal loading of TiO2 was 0.5 g, the optimal components for V2O5-MoO3/TiO2/Al2O3 catalyst can be achieved as V (2%)-Mo (6%) /TiO2. At the same time, body structure and surface character of catalyst prepared were characterized by SEM, XRD and XPS. Combining characterization with the results of activity test, the relation between catalyst structure and catalysis performance was analyzed, showing that the active component was uniformly distributed on the catalyst carrier as a single layer. Kinetics of SCR process on catalyst was studied based on the first order reaction and kinetic parameters were obtained as follows: frequency factor k0 = 1845.69 s-1, activation energy E = 30.90 KJ/mol.
