Lubricating oil analysis technique provides several advantages for preventive maintenance. By using periodic oil analysis, the component wear could be identified. From the analysis results, the corrective maintenance is subsequently performed before component failure occurs. In our maintenance step, Vibration Preventive Maintenance System of Rotating Machines was completed by using Vibration Preventive Maintenance Plan in the early 1990s. And then, Lubricating Oil Analysis Technology has been applying to Nuclear Power Plant of Gori 1 (NPPG 1) in the early 2000. It is able to detect the incipient fault of Rotating Machine for performing overall Prediction Diagnosis work of Rotating Machine. That works are carrying out side by side with Vibration Analysis.In this study, predictive fault diagnosis is used for NPPG 1 site. It will show the case that definitely predict-diagnosed facility such as early detection of Pump Bearing's deficiency. The equipment was conducted Lubricating Oil quality improvement for an alternative way of problem's cause. The results show that predictive fault diagnosis is one of the promising tools for nuclear power plant.
