In this paper, the results of the main factors affecting the calcined system of dolomite, suchas calcined temperature of dolomite, grain size of calcined dolomite and additional contentwas obtained according to fractional factorial experiment. In addition, the performances of theternary cementitious system mixed with Portland cement, light-burnt dolomite powder and flyash were investigated by examination of physical properties and SEM methods. Experimentalresults show that the ternary cementitious system indicate satisfactory strength and generallydemand more water than the relative pure Portland cement. And the strength of ternarycementitious material at 3 and 28 days decrease obviously by the addition of fly ash content.The morphology of the ternary system also was investigated by SEM.
