Parametric Description of Bridge Structures

As information is inevitably lost by computing, we often have the problem that during our designprocess relevant information is missing. One possibility to overcome this is to use parametricdescriptions. To apply this technology, there are several techniques available. To design bridges,classical approaches are insufficient, and more sophisticated approaches are necessary.
