@@ IntroductionUnmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been steadilygrowing as a major topic of research in the last fewyears,going from fixed to rotary-wing,ranging frommicro to jet-sized.Among these UAVs,model-scalehelicopters stand out for their versatility.Unlike fixed-wing UAVs,model-scale unmannedhelicopters exhibit high degree of inter-axis coupling,highly unstable and non-minimum phase dynamiccharacteristics,large response variations with flightcondition,and large delays associated with the rotor.
