@@ INTRODUCTIONA smart device has higher work density and energy efficiency with simple mechanism.Hence,a smartdevice can generate more large force than the existing actuators in broad bandwidth in a compact size.Thus asmart device is studied applications to the biomimetic artificial muscle.In this paper described are the modelidentification and control of a piezo electric actuator and experimental result of feedback controller.Wetried modeling of the dynamics of the smart device.Then we designed PID controller using computersimulation and experiment.
