摘要

This novel antenna presented consists of top substrate with a quasi-square patch,middle air gap and bottom substrate with rectangular-helix-slotted ground and open-circuit microstrip feed line(50Ω).It covers 7.9GHZ-9.85GHZ(VSWR 2,20.3%).Gain 3dB when the ground is large enough.-3dB beam-width is no less than 25o both in E-plane and H-plane.The antenna also has simplicity,compactness,small size,light weight and low profile.So it's suitable for satellite communication,radio positioning and navigating of micro air vehicle in X-band
