There are a lot of factors affecting CNG filling station risk, which are always evaluated by qualitative analysis. However, the accuracies of the results are often difficult to guarantee. Aiming at this problem, this paper puts forward a new method for CNG filling station risk assessment based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. According to the principle of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, its value applied and process for CNG filling station risk are discussed, and then the methods for calculating fuzzy evaluation matrixes and weight sets are advanced, besides the three-grade index system of CNG filling station risk factors is established. Through the application example of CZX station risk assessment, the veracity of this method is verified. In the light of risk values which can be calculated, the risk of CNG stations are classified into five grades, finally the risk mitigation measures are given.
