Color coordination of architectural concrete is a very important factor of a structure's aesthetic beauty. However,there are currently very few reports containing quantitative analyses of the influence of the colors of cement and fine aggregates on the color of concrete. In this study, cement and fine aggregates having different colors and two types formworks were used to investigate their effects on the color and gloss of architectural concrete. A correlation was found between the color of architectural concrete, and the colors of cement and fine aggregates,the mixture of cement and fine aggregate, mortar. It was been understood that the color of the combination of cement and fine aggregate is less strongly influenced by the fine aggregate than by the cement. And the effects of gloss and color of architectural concrete with formworks were confirmed.
