摘要

An innovative finite element method, entire self-adapting delamination element method, was developed in this paper, which can model the progressive delamination process of laminates really and with high efficiency. In this method the sub-elements can be generated automatically according to the occurring and extending of the delamination damage. Based on the low-velocity impact damage results from the prior study using similar method, partial self-adapting delamination element method, geometrical nonlinear static analysis on the compressive strength of laminates after impact was performed. The limited maximal iteration arc-length method was presented to ensure the convergence of nonlinear analysis in case of the inner damage expansion. The analysis results agreed well with experiments.
