Research on Mechanism for Regional Innovation System based on Resources Inputs

摘要

Mechanism of innovation resources' influence on Regional Innovation System (RIS) performance is the key to answer to why different RIS performances differ. Based on exploratory factor analysis, the paper analyzes the structures of both innovation resources and RIS performance, and classifies the innovation resources input into two categories: financial resources, human resources, and classifies the RIS performance into three dimensions, which is, Scientific and Techno-logical (S&T) quantity performance, S&T quality performance, commercialization performance. Then the paper,utilizing Structural Equation Model, analyzes the relationship between each innovation resources and RIS performance dimension, and testifies theoretical hypothesis drawn from the literature review, and generalize four disciplines from the empirical results, taking shanghai Innovation system for instance.
