Study on Purification of Eutrophic Surface Water by Biological Agent

摘要

In the study, Aquafine, which is a kind of biological agents developed in U.S.A., is used to treat surface water in Beijing Zoo to improve water quality. The result of the experiment shows that the bioremediation technique with Aquafine can decrease CODcr and Chlorophyil-a effectively, increase the content of DO and the transparency. Besides, the transformation of nitrogen compounds is benefit for TN removal. This bioremediation technique could be considered an efficient way of preventing and curing nature water pollution for it is convenient, economical and will not cause secondary pollution.
