This paper summarizes 4 years of monitoring of a 5 kWp building-top grid-connected photovoltaic system. It is installed in Renewable Energy Research Laboratory in Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi (RMUTSB) Thailand. The system has been in operation since August 2003. The PV array comprises of 84 a-Si modules and three grid-connected inverters. The inverters are tied to the utility grid via a three-phase connection.The performance study follows the IEA-PVPS performance parameters included performance ratio(PR), reference yield, final yield, array capture losses, system losses, array efficiency, inverter efficiency, and overall plant efficiency. During the four years of operation, this system was generated in average about 6,251 kWh per year. The overall plant efficiency in average is about 5.04% each year. The PV array efficiency in average about 6.13% and the inverter efficiency in average is about 82.21%. The Y_R in average is about 4.81(h/d) and the Y_F in average is about 3.50 (h/d) in each year. The four-year average of PR is approximately 0.73.
