ARCHITECTURAL ACTIVE SOLAR ENERGY REFLECTOR COLLECTOR STUDIES

Architectonic studies are presented of schematic building structures with integrated reflector concentrators and receivers: fixed nonimaging (NI) CPC, involute, and split-involute troughs with transverse evacuated tubes (building interior CPC for Temperate Zone; and exterior troughs for the Tropics, with greenhouse type cookers); and small heliostats tower central receivers (CR). Studies began with mid temperature collector technologies and investigated integrations with building structure types, sizes, construction materials-methods, and selected details.
