Handling and comfort as well as driving safety can be improved considerably for vehicles with intelligent stabilizer bars. This paper grants an overview of the required electrical system architecture of a realized Active Roll Control System. Sensor requirements as well as the software architecture and control strategies are presented. Due to the environmental requirements like vehicle fuel consumption the selected motor pump unit shows sufficient system performance.
