It is to introduce non-traditional type of workforce development in the field of international relationship which has conducted by Japan Space Exploration Agency (JAXA), namely, Multilateral Young Professional Exchange Program (MYPEP). Its aim is for mutual understanding of young experts who has possibility to become core personnel in the space organizations after about 20-30 years drawing common big picture and establishing sustainable relationship internationally.As a pilot project, MYPEP started in 2006 and its project team, which works in voluntary bases, has organized 2 bilateral projects in 2 years. First one was with India in 2007 and the second one was with Vietnam in 2008. Mutual visits, discussion on how they expect international cooperation for the future development and information exchange both on space issue and non-space (= cultural and social) issue are main activity of MYPEP. Approximately 10 or thereabout young professional of each organizations were the delegates to visit.MYPEP is planned, organized, managed, and operated by young professional. No preference of his/her special field (scientist/engineer/administrator) and think together about vision and goal of space activity. Through 2 years experimental project, we found advantage and disadvantage of MYPEP comparing with traditional ways of young personnel training for international cooperation. We will improve MYPEP and use it as one of the tool of international workforce development or international relationship.
