The European integrated project STORHY, initiated in March 2004 and driven by major European car manufacturers, aims to develop robust, safe and efficient hydrogen storage systems for automotive applications. This paper presents results gained on high pressure storage technology and more particularly to their refuelling issues with three main challenges to be achieved and demonstrated:1. A short refueling time. The objective of the project STORHY is to refuel a passenger car in less than 4 minutes.
