OPERATION AND EXPERIMENTAL ACTIVITIES OF THE SIEMENS SOFC GENERATORS CHP100 AND SFC5 IN A MECHANICAL WORKSHOP

In the three years of operation several experimental campaigns were executed and some experiences were learned both from TurboCare and Politecnico di Torino on SOFC system. The main results can be summarize as follow:1. In three years of operation the systems show a great availability and very low degradation.2. The polarization performance of the two system are about the same; the ASR is lower for SFC5 alpha6, behaviour essentially due to its higher average temperature.
