摘要

Flow-induced vibration of delivery valve affects the safe operation of ship locks. The cause of flow-induced vibration of delivery valve and its countermeasures are analyzed and probed in this paper according to the prototype observation data of a few ship locks with a high water head.Flow-induced vibration of delivery valve of ship locks is the coupling result of hydraulic structures with flow, while cavitation is the main cause of violent or harmful vibration of delivery valve. The structural measures of wholely-wrapped arms, streamlined bottom rim and short boom, engineering measures of sudden widening of gallery behind gate and natural aeration of gate lintel, and operational measures of fast or intermittent opening of lock gate are applied to effectively reduce and control vibration in order to prevent harmful vibration.
