NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN FOAM INJECTION MOLDING

摘要

Foaming process with physical blowing agents offer advantages and new opportunities to the processor. With Optifoam, a new technology and retrofit solution has been recently introduced. Within this paper innovative potential and realized applications in injection moulding are discussed. Further, latest developments concerning process technologies as well as raw materials different from thermoplastics are introduced.
