The SmartFoam Technology was developed for using every standard single injection moulding machine, getting a high surface performance with a foamed core. Huge benefits the moulder can get by using this new technology like: short cycle time, light product weight, high surface quality, higher stiffness and low distortion, lower clamping force and use of even old existing machines with a simple patent licence fee on the controller. The change of existing moulds is possible often. The system is not creating microcellular bubbles, because the small mixing area, but can get the big benefits with a macro cellular foamed core structure with cold runner or hot runner systems.
