According to construction of a little space tunnel in Jiaojin Mountain of Dalian city, based on the theory of rock damaged caused by blasting and monitoring data of damnified rock in-situ experiments, a series of tunnel blasting experiments are carried out, the standard of blasting vibration velocity is increased from the present 4~6cm/s to 10~15cm/s. According to this standard, advance of blasting is 8~9m. Construction schedule and construction cost are reduced. In the end the new tunnel was constructed safely, fast and economically. Considering numerical simulation and strength of rock and concrete, Safety of the existing tunnels is analyzed and the blasting vibration velocity standard of a litter space is discussed.
