By analyzing the maintenance period about full-mechanized face equipment, the decision-making model of optimum maintenance period about full-mechanized face equipment has been put forward. Apply with theory of reliability, according to the model, and provide a mathematic formula of optimum maintenance period while the availability of the equipment is max. This model and formula can be use for deciding optimum maintenance period of full-mechanized face equipment.
