LRFD Based on the Fourth-Moment Method

摘要

(1)The determination of LRFs using the fourth-moment method is proposed.(2) Although the LRFs obtained by the present method are much different from those obtained from FORM, the target mean resistances obtained by both the methods are almost the same.(3) Since the proposed method is based on the fourth-moment method, and it is relate to the mean, standard deviation, and skewnees of each variable, the LRFs can be determined even when the distributions of the basic random variables are unknown.
