摘要

Concerning about regional brand started from the rapid development of industry cluster in recent years,in order to promote the transformation and upgrade of industry cluster and the development of regional economy by developing regional brand,which has become an important approach to develop regional economy. However,in practice,the ambiguity of property rights,the pluralism of management subject of regional brand result in failures in role perception and function orientation in the development of regional brand by these management subjects; and the misunderstanding of the effect and action mechanism of regional brand in the development of industry cluster lead to the poor effect of this strategic tool. Defining the connotation and characteristics of regional brand,this paper expounds the function of regional brand in developing industry cluster,and determines the concrete function of local government in the development of regional brand so as to give full play to the effect of regional brand.
