Change of Governmental Behavior Mechanism in Urban Governance

In modern cities, urban governance clearly marks the transition from reign to governance. It is often taken to be change of distribution of resources and method of integration of interests, while in fact it means a kind of interest regulatory mechanism or process, through which many interest entities dialogue, negotiate and cooperate for maximum mobilization and utilization of resources, and for win-win or all-win in terms of interest. In process of urban governance, urban governments face the task of reorientation, i.e. to seek to strike a perfect balance between encouraging local economic development and improving urban public services. Main features of new mode of operation of city lie in urban governance, for public sectors begin to construct partnership with private institutes or agencies, which in turn triggers a series of changes in urban operation mechanism.
