摘要

The forth Qiantang River Bridge is a structurally complex double-decker CFST tie arch Bridge. This paper mainly introduced characteristics of the project and the construction process of the superstructure and substructure by presenting some key techniques such as water steel cofferdam, cable way erecting system without supports, jacking method of casting concrete and construction monitoring, etc. It launches some points for attention in construction and summarizes some experiences. It is a bridge with innovating structure style and high design and construction techniques. During the construction, it enriches construction techniques of large span steel tube concrete arch bridge.
