The presented programs easily demonstrate "narrow" places of a flow path where excessive diffusion factors, unfavorable blade angles, supersonic velocities on profiles, etc., take place. Any variant of a stage can be studied from these positions and overall performances can be compared. Series of calculations demonstrate what combination of a periphery Max number, a flow rate coefficient, hub ratio and a stage cinematic scheme leads to highest flow rate of a stage, of to highest efficiency, or to a highest pressure ratio. Any other design or research problem can be solved by the programs. Being able to provide better primary designs to more profound and complicated study the programs are effectively applied for academic purposes at the same time.
