Contactless AFC Integration in Tianjin Metro

摘要

This paper describes the case study of Tianjin′s Metro′s first line Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system, which has been recently inaugurated. This AFC system has become one of the worlds first fully contactless AFC systems, that proposes as an innovative solution for the one way title the contactless token. We will try to explain the AFC′s system architecture and difference between contactless technology and other type of technology, and specially why has been chosen the Token option for the one way tickets.
