In the spinning procedure, performance of winding directly affects the package forming, the yarn quality and even the efficiency of weaving machines. A yarn tension auto-control system is presented based on the yam tension detection. This system fulfils the digital control of motor speed and the constant tension control through the measurement of yarn tension, which is detected by a special mechanism and a distance sensor. This system processes signals with 56F805 embedded system using SVPWM technology to realize winding automation, and designs the voltage-protection circuit, current-detection circuit and yarn's tension survey signal sampling circuit.The winding machine with the yarn tension auto-control system has the advantage of simple structure, low cost,accurate control, and good performance.
