Multi stage optimization planning of renewable energy power base is a multi-variable and nonlinear mixed integer optimization problem. Therefore, multi-stage optimization model of renewable energy power base is built by the dynamic programming method to make the decision of each stage. The planning results of the target annual are used as the basis for the expansion of the renewable energy power generation base in each stage. The economic effect of the various measures is solved by using the recursive algorithm of dynamic programming, and the whole economic cost is solved by the optimization function. The feasibility of the method is verified by the example.
