摘要

This paper proposes a new antenna technique for flexible printed monopole antenna (FPMA) as a radiator. This branch lines FPMA based on three asymmetric meander lines with flexible structure exhibits good performances. Branch lines FPMA radiator has the merits to improve antenna bandwidth with fine frequency tuning. The PDA phone for CDMA2000 cellular (824-894MHz), PCS (1850-1990MHz) and GPS (1571.42-1579.42 MHz) applications is well demonstrated with the integration and measurement of the co-designed FPMA. Based on 3D far field antenna measurement system to get the antenna performance of total radiation efficiency and mean effective gain (MEG).
