Dual-Fuel Gas Turbine Propulsion Systems for LNG Carriers

Aero-derivative gas turbines can provide highly reliable and well proven propulsion solution for LNG carriers. Both in terms of Capex and Opex, gas turbines are competitive with DRL and DFDE propulsion systems. As gas turbines are already in use throughout the LNG value chain, gas turbine driven LNG carriers could soon become reality.
