Since 1996, the CNES undertakes development developments forgeneric solutions in order to offer to the scientific andtechnical community an access to space at a controlledcost. This article discuses the Mission Centre Centres (orPayloa Payload Centre) d Centre), part of the , ground segment segment, and moreprecisely th thos ose dedicated to the scientific experiments.E First Firstly ly, t , the he different elements composing a MissionCentre are described in detail. T Then hen three existingMission Centres are presented ( DEMETER, PARASOLand COROT COROT). These two sections show the parameterswhich justify the design of a generic Mission Centre. Anew functional analysis (limited to 4 functions) and anew architecture (services oriented) are proposed todevelop such a centre entre. This analysis wil will be applied tol the next small scientific space missions missions.
