Information Management for Disaster Recovery Activities using DiMSIS: Case study of Kawaguchi Town and Tokamachi City in Niigata Prefecture

Local governments find it advantageous to follow up with earthquake damage using spatial-temporal information processing. In the cases of Kawaguchi Town and Tokamachi City, our survey began after the commencement of other recovery activities.On the other hand, in Yamakoshi Village, recovery activities would begin next spring. This implies that it is possible to begin our survey simultaneously with those recovery activities. This will allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed process in all recovery cycles.
