The characteristics of fly-ash erosion on three kinds of steel of boiler tubes in coal-tired power stations at 200-550 °C are studied in this thesis. The three kinds of steel include 20 carbon steel, 12Cr1MoV and 15CrMo alloy-steels. According to the test result data, the erosion rate △I of three kinds of steel decreases at first and then increases as specimen temperature rises. The velocity index、temperature index and critical temperature are obtained by means of processing of test data. These parameters influence evidently the erosion rate of the materials. The analyzing results indicate that the impacting velocity is the main factor of effect on fly-ash erosion at low temperature while the temperature is the main factor of effect on fly-ash erosion at high temperature. The erosion resistance of.20 carbon steel is better under 400°C. The erosion resistance of 15CrMo alloy steel is better over 400°C. 12Cr1MoV alloy steel has a better oxidation resistance and erosion resistance no matter how is high temperature or low temperature, and has a better stability.
