This paper needs to be read in conjunction with ref.1, as listed in the "Related Literature"section;its not a stand alone work. What follows deals with the popular AC stacking configuration as used in a PWM forward converter, concentrating in particular on the simplest possible arrangement; that is,a two output PSU,in which 5V and 12V remain the arbitrary choices for the nominal DC output voltage ralls.Multi-output forwards with AC stacking get a mention later into the paper.Although a glossary of terms appears two pages hence, its restricted to what has special significance regarding AC stacking,in the interest of saving space. The comprehensive glossary in the ref.1 paper should otherwise be referred to.
