Novel 6-PACK SOI Driver SmartPACK / SmartPIM Modules for Low-powerDrive Applications

摘要

A novel 600 V / 0.3 A 6-pack IGBT /MOSFET driver with level-shift function isdeveloped based on a SOI technology. Itrealizes a full gate drive and protectionfunctions like under-voltage lockout and overcurrentdetection as well as an improvedreliability and robustness against negativetransient voltage. A new series of IPM namedSmartPACK / SmartPIM is developed byusing the SOI driver IC together with the newest IGBT chip technology 600 V IGBT3 and integrated boot-strap functions in a compactbase-plate less housing. Different current ratings of this modules offers low power drives acompact and cost effective solution with design and process simplifications.
