The possibility of controlling the radiation and scatteringcharacteristics of an object without changing its geometry, but onlychanging the shape, thickness and electrodynamic properties of thecoating is considered. The numerical algorithm used to solve theboundary problem is described, and some numerical results for 2-D and3-D objects with different types of coatings are presented and analyzed
