GONGBOXIA HYDROPOWER STATION UPSTREAM/DOWNSTREAM COFFERDAM SEEPAGE CONTROL

摘要

The earth-rock cofferdam included in Gongboxia Hydropower Station includes 5 types of seepage control, namely, asphalt, cutoff wall, cast-in-place concrete cutoff wall, clay core, geomembrane, and high-pressure rotary (oscillatory) shotcrete cutoff wall. The construction methods for these different types of cutoff walls are hereby presented and compared to provide reference for other similar projects in the stage of designing and performing seepage controls.
