Semantic and praxis of the entrepreneurial universities in transition economies

摘要

Intellectual work, science, technology, innovation and knowledge implementing are the key factors of modern society. The concept of entrepreneurial university (EnUn) and the shift that it incurs within the educational processes are both responses to the changes in the broader framework of the economic systems. Education is one of the main and most subtle tools for implementing and sustaining entrepreneurial economies. The EnUn is a very flexible academic structure that focuses on the economic processes, is student-oriented, is run by skillful managers, and asks for students' creativity. It has the capacity to adapt the entrepreneurial concepts to the requirements of the training processes and promotes entrepreneurship as an option for professional careers. The present paper aims at drafting an algorithm for better praxis in the field of EnUn within transition economies. Neither does it has universal validity, nor is it complete, but it is based on recent empirical evidence and is highly specific.
