摘要

The design of structural dimensions of hourglass cam is introduced in this paper. Constructive solid geometry (CSG) modelling and further development of AutoCAD in Visual Basic is applied to realize three dimensional animation and machining simulation of this indexing cam. On the basis of this, the three dimensional part drawing is imported into Pro/Engineer (Pro/E) environment for machining simulation and the numerical control file is also generated.
