Buckling of Tubulars Inside Wellbores: A Review on Recent Theoretical and Experimental Works

摘要

Buckling behavior of tubulars inside wellbores is the majorsubject of many articles. This paper presents a generaloverview on most of the material available in the literature onthe subject and also comments on the different, and sometimesconflicting solutions presented in various works.Different aspects of the phenomenon are discussedincluding sinusoidal (lateral) and helical buckling andinfluence of torque.
