The Analysis of Laboratory Tests on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome and Other Suspect Cases but non - SARS

Objective To compare the laboratory tests, 35 items of SARS and suspect cases but non - SARS, in order to provide advice on diagnosis and monitor the SARS. Methods we used the laboratory methods to analysis liver, heart, renal and immunological function. All of them was tested in good internal and external cpiality assessment. Result Red blood cell count, hemoglobin, T cell (CD3~+ ) , ratio of CD4~+ and CD8~+ , γ- glutamyl transpeptidase, ratio of albumin/glob were signinifi-cantly different between the two groups. SARS group is significantly higher than group 2. There are potential difference in T cell (CD8~+ ), lactic acid dehydrogenase and α - hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase. Conclusion These findings may have important role in diagnosis and monitor for SARS about 6 tests and potential advise about 4 tests.
