Improvement of vehicle riding comfort and stability conditions require appropriate strategy of state measurements, accurate signal processors and precise actuating devices. The introduction of these active devices becomes necessary because it is difficult to gain more benefits throughout the existing conventional suspension systems. The aim of the present paper is to gain good improvement in passenger riding comfort, stability and handling conditions by introducing a simple active suspension system. Simple sensing devices are used and limited band-width actuators are enough for conducting these improvements. The main strategy of this work is to measure limited states from the front part of the vehicle and to use the signals of these states for controlling the front and rear parts of the vehicle. Of course, fine processing should be done to the actuating signal of the rear part of the vehicle. The results show good dynamic control for both the vehicle body and wheels.
