Aerial numerial images captured at critical soil conditions and crop stages are promising tools for precision faming if 1) images reflect spatial structure of stable soil properties and crop yield potential 2) scales of spatial structures are manageable. In view of evaluating this feasibility, spatial integration and analysis of yield, topography, physico-chemical soil properties and aerial multi-spectral images captured in spring and summer have been realized for four fields from Bois-Francs region and 2 years of production. Early summer images predicted monitored yield for both sites demonstrating significant spatial structure. Numerical elevation model and early spring images revealed soil physico-chemical properties. Organic matter level best correlates with yield potential. Short range of spatial structure observed for this property complicates localized nutrients and soil amendments management.
