Performance and capacity planning - trends in convergent networks

摘要

Rapid convergence of traditional communications networks and services and emerging new technologies have initiated new trends in terms of performance and reliability engineering of the service hosts - both at the network level and the platform level. This paper highlights the current trends, and potential directions for convergent networks from the perspective of both service provider and supplier.
