Information systems and the overview report for computing curricula 2004

My purpose is to inform you of the draft "Overview Report" for Computing Curricula 2004 and Information Systems (IS) role in it. This draft report is available for comment. It is the first volume in a computing compendium, referred to as Computing Curricula. This is a cooperative project of ACM, AIS, and IEEE-CS. The "Overview Report" includes a guide to undergraduate degrees in computing, including Computer Engineering, Computer Science (CS2001), Information Systems (IS2002), Information Technology, and Software Engineering. The completed or draft report for the curricula is located at the ACM web site, acm.org.
