Simulation in Agent Software Engineering: A Case Study

Agent software engineering is a new paradigm to develop complex software systems. One of the problems that is necessary to face when developing agents systems is how to evaluate them. In this paper we explore the role that experimental work using simulators can play in the evaluation of agents systems. Our own experimental work in testing the characteristics of an agent architecture is presented as case study.
